Progress has been made in tackling key core technologies
"China building materials has made progress in many new materials by giving full play to the advantages of 26 national scientific research and design institutes and 38000 scientific researchers." Zhou Yuxian said that in order to implement the national key core technology task, China building materials has established a key core technology research leading group to actively promote the implementation of major scientific and technological projects of the group, such as independent supply of special-purpose materials, carbon peak carbon neutralization technology, three modernizations of basic building materials, civil Aviation composites and information display glass. Strengthen the coordination between central enterprises and local governments, and jointly tackle key problems with COMAC, Sinopec and Wuhan Institute of technology around large aircraft composites, carbon fiber composites, key materials for hydrogen energy storage and transportation, low-carbon technologies, etc.
In terms of serving national defense construction, a large number of new materials of China's building materials are widely used in national major projects such as aerospace, ships and nuclear industry. Carbon fiber composite load-bearing structures are used in national major projects such as Tianhe core module, cargo spacecraft, Shenzhou 12 and Tianwen 1. In terms of serving the people's better life, the gypsum board business of China building materials has successively developed net aldehyde board and universal board to meet the growing needs of people's better life. The production of neutral borosilicate medicinal glass tubes is stable and mass-produced.
